Set Up Email in Outlook, Apple Mail, and Gmail

Access your BearHost email from any device by configuring it in your favorite email client.

Email Server Settings

Use these settings for all email clients:

Incoming Mail (IMAP)

• Server: mail.yourdomain.com
• Port: 993
• Security: SSL/TLS

Outgoing Mail (SMTP)

• Server: mail.yourdomain.com
• Port: 465
• Security: SSL/TLS

Microsoft Outlook Setup

1. Open Outlook
2. Go to File → Add Account
3. Enter your email address
4. Select Advanced options → Let me set up my account manually
5. Choose IMAP
6. Enter the server settings above
7. Enter your password
8. Click Connect

Apple Mail Setup

1. Open Mail app
2. Go to Mail → Add Account
3. Select Other Mail Account
4. Enter your name, email, and password
5. Enter the server settings when prompted
6. Click Sign In

Gmail App Setup

1. Open Gmail app
2. Tap your profile picture
3. Tap Add another account
4. Select Other
5. Enter your email address
6. Select Personal (IMAP)
7. Enter the server settings
8. Complete setup

iPhone/iPad Setup

1. Go to Settings → Mail → Accounts
2. Tap Add Account → Other → Add Mail Account
3. Enter your name, email, password
4. Enter server settings for incoming and outgoing
5. Save the account

Troubleshooting

Can't connect?

• Double-check your password
• Ensure you're using the correct ports
• Verify SSL/TLS is enabled
• Check that your email account exists in cPanel
