How to Transfer Your Domain to BearHost

Transferring your domain to BearHost is straightforward. Follow this guide to move your domain seamlessly.

Before You Start

Make sure you have:

• Access to your current registrar account
• Domain is unlocked at current registrar
• Domain was registered more than 60 days ago
• Access to the admin email on the domain

Get Your Authorization Code

1. Log in to your current domain registrar
2. Find the domain management section
3. Look for "Transfer" or "Authorization Code"
4. Request and copy the EPP/Auth code

Unlock Your Domain

At your current registrar:

1. Find the domain lock setting
2. Disable the domain lock
3. Wait for the status to update (usually instant)

Start the Transfer at BearHost

1. Go to Domains → Transfer Domain
2. Enter your domain name
3. Paste your authorization code
4. Add to cart and complete payment

Approve the Transfer

After initiating the transfer:

1. Check your admin email for approval request
2. Click the approval link in the email
3. Confirm the transfer

• Standard Transfer: 5-7 days
• Some TLDs: Up to 10 days
• .uk Domains: 24-48 hours

After Transfer Completes
